Project Excellence Award for Best Use of Cloud Services” Patient Relationship Manager (NHS 111)

Healthy London Partnership is excited and proud to announce our Patient Relationship Manager, the cloud-based system designed to improve patients’ experience of NHS 111, has won the prestigious UK IT Industry Award for the best use of cloud services.

Patient Relationship Manager (PRM) is the technology running behind the scenes improving London’s NHS 111. It links up patients and clinicians (including out-of-hours GPs and the London Ambulance Service) with the most up-to-date data in real time. It means a better experience for all and ever increasingly integrated care for Londoners.

The award is presented to the project that has achieved exceptional results through its outstanding implementation and high levels of professionalism in IT. It beat stiff competition to win and shows its leading edge technology is providing a truly innovative service for London. This year there were 600 entries; 232 finalists; 25 winners; 25 highly commended.

The Patient Relationship Manager is also nominated for the the Innovation, Technology and Effectiveness section of the European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards 2016. Results will be announced next week.

BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards are a platform for the entire profession to celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence. This year’s Awards featured 25 categories that covered: project, organisation, technology and individual excellence. The categories were open to organisations and individuals involved in IT across the public, not for profit and commercial sectors.
