The London Cancer Patient Advisory Group is recruiting

16th June 2022

Who are the London Cancer Patient Advisory Group?
The London Patient Advisory Group is made up of cancer service users from across London and is currently working to widen the inclusivity of members.

What does the London Cancer Patient Advisory Group do?
The London Patient Advisory Group take the experience of patients from patient voice groups and use it to influence London wide change; it enables people who provide cancer services to hear from people who need these services. Members of the group use individual knowledge and experience of London’s health system to promote the needs of Londoners. The group provides independent advice to assist the best decisions about cancer care in London and its members advocate improvements in quality and outcomes.

How does the London Cancer Patient Advisory Group work?
The improvement and transformation of cancer services is an agreed priority for the NHS in London. The Patient Advisory  Group meets bi-monthly with meetings currently being held virtually on Teams. The group supports decision-making about cancer care through its membership on the Cancer Transformation and Improvement Board for London.

The London Patient Advisory Group is currently working to widen the inclusivity of the Group. If you feel you’re interested in joining, then please contact: deborah.mcneill1@nhs.net
