Planning to improve access and uptake of health promotion, prevention and treatments for people living with SMI
People living with SMI face one of the greatest health inequality gaps in the UK. With a risk of dying on average up to two decades earlier than the general population, mostly due to preventable physical diseases being overlooked. Coordinated planning is required to help improve services to ensure the physical health needs of this population are met.
