Transformation Partners in Health and Care > Resources > Healthy London Partnership highlights report 2018-19

Our 2018/19 highlights report outlines some of our collective achievements in the past year, delivered through collaboration and partnership working to tackle London-wide challenges to health and care.

Collectively delivering for London

Healthy London Partnership (HLP) has continued to support the transformation of health and care for Londoners in 2018/19. There has been significant progress in areas such as mental health, greater use of technology and increased access to family doctors.

None of these achievements would have been possible without key agencies, organisations and people working together. Partnership working is the only way in which we will tackle London’s most complex health and care challenges and ensure that we meet our shared aim of making London the healthiest global city. We are proud of the work achieved this year, as outlined in our highlights report, and to have come this far however, we are clear that there is a lot more to do.

Everyone involved with HLP looks forward to shaping and implementing improvements for London. We firmly believe that we can make London the world’s healthiest city and be the best global city in which to receive health and care by continuing to work together.

About Healthy London Partnership

Healthy London Partnership was formed in 2015 when the NHS in London united together to develop and agree a shared response to the NHS Five Year Forward View and Lord Darzi’s ambitious Better Health for London report. Leaders committed to working closely and sharing assets and ideas to help ensure Londoners get the high quality care they deserve, with the overarching goal of making our capital the world’s healthiest global city.

The partnership focused on combining efforts at a London-level to work towards making 10 shared aspirations for London a reality. A lot has changed in the past four years. Learn more about our strategic role.
