Children and young people’s mental health shared learning event – 3 July 2019

Healthy London Partnership’s Children and Young People’s Mental Health Shared Learning Event was held on 3rd July. More than 130 experts in the field of mental health attended the second annual event which saw 42 speakers deliver 35 presentations on different positive practice across the UK to encourage shared learning. Feedback from the event has been overwhelmingly positive. 100% of responses said the event “highlighted and disseminated existing good practice. There were a number of key note speakers including representatives from NHS England and Improvement, the BBC and Professor Peter Fonagy OBE, as well as a number of breakout sessions on particular topics areas:

  • Digital mental health
  • Children and young people’s mental health transformation and support tools
  • Prevention and early intervention
  • Looked after children and social care
  • Parental and family mental health
  • Working with an extended age range
