Learning Together: London’s Mental Health in Schools Event

Healthy London Partnership’s CYP) mental health team hosted a ‘Learning Together: Mental Health in Schools’ celebration event on 24 March 2022.

This event was an opportunity to celebrate, share knowledge and experiences, and reflect on all the amazing work going on to support young people, their families and staff with their mental health and well-being in schools in London. It also explored next steps and innovative ways to support young people with their mental health in education settings in the future.

Advancing CYP MH Equalities

As part of Black History Month 2021, the CYP MH programme at Healthy London Partnership hosted a shared learning webinar on Advancing CYP MH Equalities on Tuesday 19 October. The webinar was well-attended by over 180 delegates from a wide range of organisations across London. We are proud to share amazing examples of initiatives and programmes which aim to address avoidable health inequalities for young people in London. Speakers inspired system leaders and mental health professionals on what services and systems could be doing going forwards to improve and support the mental health and wellbeing of the young people who face avoidable health inequalities in access, experience and outcomes. Disordered Eating

On 15 July 2021, HLP ran a Shared Learning webinar on Disordered Eating which was attended by 120 delegates from a range of agencies. The event explored the distinction between disordered eating and eating disorders and shared examples from across London on how joint working across physical and mental health is addressing the needs of this group of young people. The event concluded with a discussion session exploring the challenges with supporting young people with disordered eating and opportunities for greater working between physical and mental health. Suicide Prevention

The Healthy London Partnership hosted a webinar on Suicide Prevention which took place on 12 May 2021. It was attended by over 100 delegates from a wide range of agencies. It was held to share positive practice amongst colleagues and look at offers available for children and young people in relation to suicide prevention.
