Transforming Cancer Services Team Cancer Waits Improvement
The TCST Cancer Waits Improvement programme is a resource within London working in partnership with the NHSE/I Elective Care Improvement Support Team (IST).
We work to agreed objectives helping to improve cancer outcomes. Service improvement for cancer pathways is targeted towards secondary care. The support offer aims to identify improvement opportunities and priorities. We use Elective Care IST approaches and national tools and improvement methods to undertake baseline assessments, analysis and interpretation of relevant data.
Cancer waits improvement aligns to the delivery of national and regional agendas and standards including NHS Long term planning, optimal timed pathways and faster diagnosis along with regional strategies for cancer across London.
