More than 250 information governance and data managers in 133 London Trusts, GP practices, social care organisations and local authorities are now signed up to our new online platform for creating, agreeing and updating information sharing agreements.
The Data Controller Console aims to make the process of creating, signing and updating information sharing agreements easier and more efficient and transparent. Information governance managers who are signed up to the console can now upload existing information sharing agreements and invite other organisations to sign them.
The console will eventually form part of the wider London Health and Information Exchange which aims to join up NHS organisations across London to help improve patient care. The console was piloted in selected NHS organisations in North East and North West London earlier this year. It is now being rolled out across London, starting with organisations in North East and North West London, North Central London, South East London and South West London.
Online training is being run to help information governance managers, data managers and Caldicott Guardians get started on the system. The Webex training will run between 1pm and 2pm on Thursday 3rd, 10th and 17th August. To sign up for the training email email@example.com
More information about the training can be found on the flyer at the bottom of this page.
